What we are looking for

Based in Shanghai, this position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality building, environmental, and industrial projects within an international consulting environment.

In close collaboration with global clients and Delhom’s worldwide teams, the role involves developing thoughtful technical approaches, adapting to diverse project contexts, and progressively taking ownership from early design to final completion.

It is suited to engineers who combine technical expertise with a consulting mindset and are motivated by responsibility, collaboration, and long-term project impact.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Acoustics Engineering or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an acoustic consultancy or engineering office
  • Technical background in building and environmental acoustics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary construction teams
  • Responsible, autonomous, proactive, and quality-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English is required; Mandarin proficiency is appreciated but not mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Managing acoustic consultancy projects from concept design to construction completion, and in coordination with international teams
  • Responding to client enquiries and participating in tenders and proposals
  • Analysing project briefs and preparing technical and commercial offers
  • Producing acoustic reports, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Conducting acoustic modelling, simulations, and on-site measurements
  • Performing studies in compliance with local and international standards
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external partners across regions, and developing strong relationships
