Beauty Farm Boao is a healthcare facility combining public spaces, consultation areas, laboratories, and conference functions. Each of these spaces has very different acoustic needs, from speech clarity in shared areas to calm and controlled environments in more sensitive zones.
The main challenge was to manage reverberation and background noise across a wide variety of spaces, ensuring acoustic comfort without compromising circulation, openness, or the architectural intent of the project.
We worked with AIA Life Designers to support the acoustic design of interior spaces, focusing on reverberation control and overall acoustic comfort.
Our scope covered a range of areas, including common spaces, conference rooms, consultation rooms, laboratories, corridors, and a conference hall. For each space, we defined appropriate acoustic objectives and proposed solutions adapted to its function and level of activity.
The acoustic strategy aimed to create balanced sound environments that support daily use while remaining coherent with the interior design.
The implemented solutions improved speech clarity and comfort across public and functional areas, while reducing excessive reverberation in larger volumes.
The result is a healthcare environment where sound supports both functionality and well-being, providing users with spaces that feel controlled, comfortable, and tailored to their specific needs.
